How NYC Web Design Agencies Use Generative AI in Creative Design ?

People often ask me
whether I use AI for ad visuals.
The honest answer is: yes - and no.
I use AI,
but not to create final ad visuals.
Lately, I’ve seen many ad creatives that look technically right.
High quality.
Clean.
AI-generated.
But most of them feel the same.
A while ago, a client came to me with ad visuals they had already created using AI.
Nothing was wrong with them visually.
Yet the ads weren’t working.
The issue wasn’t the execution.
It was the thinking behind it.
The visuals were created
before anyone decided
what the ad was actually trying to say.
This is where my use of AI is different.
I use AI in the thinking phase, not the finishing phase.
I use it to:
For me, AI is a thinking partner.
It helps open up possibilities,
but it doesn’t make decisions.
AI can generate visuals quickly,
but it can’t decide:
Those decisions still need human judgment.
Once the direction is clear,
the audience is defined,
and the emotional angle is chosen,
that’s when design becomes intentional.
And that’s when AI becomes powerful.
Not as a shortcut,
but as a way to execute faster and explore smarter.
When direction is unclear,
AI-generated ads may look fine
but fail to connect.
When direction is clear,
AI helps create visuals that feel considered,
not generic.
I don’t use AI to replace thinking.
I use it to support better decisions.
If your AI-generated ads look good
but don’t feel right,
the problem may not be the tool.
It may be the step where AI was introduced.

When we began shaping this corporate tower, we treated geometry as a system that could evolve with the environment. Using BIM and AI-driven simulations, we studied how light shifted through the day and how heat gathered across surfaces. The tessellation was grown, responding to data like an organism adapting to its habitat. Each layer of information refined proportion and rhythm until structure and climate found equilibrium. For cities across the Philippines, this method opens a path toward architecture that senses and learns rather than merely occupies space.

Revolutionizing Interior Design with Technology: Danel Zharmenova’s Visionary Approach
Your website is often your business’s first handshake with a prospect, and in just 0.05 seconds, users decide whether to stay or go. The design, speed, and feel of your site don’t just look pretty; they build trust, drive conversions, and shape how Google ranks you. But what trends will define winning web experiences in 2026?
If your site still feels like it’s from 2015, visitors will sense it. Research shows that 75% of users judge a company’s credibility based on web design. Also, Google now rewards sites that load fast, behave well on mobile, and deliver smooth interactions. Falling behind means losing traffic, leads, and visibility.
That’s why top brands are already embracing smarter, more human web experiences, and why embracing the right trends can give you a serious edge.
Here’s a spotlight on the most exciting shifts redefining how websites are built, and how visitors feel when they use them.
These are not just “cool looks”; each trend has a purpose: to direct attention, foster engagement, and make your brand feel alive online.

Is AI-Designed UI Up to the Mark?
Decode the why behind the wow. 👇
I tested a few AI-powered UI design tools.
Impressive? Yes.
Helpful for wireframes and quick mockups? Absolutely.
Game-changing? Not quite.
Here’s why:
I asked three tools — Uizard, Bold, and Lovable — to generate a mobile home screen UI for a fashion eCommerce app called MODISH.
The brief was simple:
“Think clean, stylish, and user-friendly — with intuitive eCommerce flow and a modern purple color palette.”
In seconds, I got:
✅ Sleek layout
✅ Balanced spacing
✅ Trendy visuals
✅ Purple theme, as specified
Visually? Solid.
But when I mapped it to real user goals and business needs — it crumbled.
The Problems:
❌ No clarity on what matters most to shoppers
❌ No flow reflecting a real purchase journey
❌ No support for edge cases, cognitive load, or trust-building
❌ No empathy — just polished pixels
That’s when it hit me:
👉 AI helps with what to design, but not why
👉 It offers structure — not strategy
👉 It mimics patterns — not pain points
Great design isn’t about decoration. It’s about decisions.
Yes, AI is fast.
Yes, it’s evolving.
But it still can’t replace:
↳ Strategic thinking
↳ Real user research
↳ Human empathy
Because real UX isn’t about drawing pretty screens.
It’s about solving meaningful problems that matter to real people.

AI-powered tools, such as Adobe Sensei, Figma’s AI-enhanced features, and Deep Dream, are streamlining the design process, allowing creatives to focus on the more conceptual and strategic aspects of their work.
As AI becomes more integrated into the design process, ethical considerations must be addressed. Designers must be mindful of AI-generated biases, the importance of human oversight, and the need to maintain creative integrity. While AI can generate stunning designs, human intuition, emotion, and storytelling remain irreplaceable components of meaningful digital art.

AI is not here to take over the design industry—it is here to revolutionize it. By embracing AI-powered tools, designers can push creative boundaries, increase efficiency, and develop more personalized user experiences. The key is to see AI as a collaborator rather than a competitor.
