Nike Reintroduces ACG, Designed for Athletes Who Train Beyond the City

Nike is bringing back All Conditions Gear (ACG), its dedicated outdoor performance brand created for athletes who embrace challenge, adventure, and the thrill of thriving in the wild.

Backed by more than 40 years of history supporting outdoor athletes across the globe, ACG returns with the same purpose that defined it from the start: to deliver inspiration, motivation, and high-quality gear for athletes who test their limits in every environment, whether on rugged trails, steep mountains, or anywhere exploration leads. This reintroduction signals a renewed commitment to outdoor performance and to helping athletes chase their boldest ambitions with an equally bold mindset.

“This is a defining moment in ACG’s history — a recommitment to all conditions and an invitation to athletes to unplug, get outside, and explore,” says Scott LeClair, VP/GM of ACG. “ACG has the foundation to shape the future of outdoor performance while pushing into spaces that feel fresh and unexpected. It is going to be a fun ride.”

With a clear focus on trail running, hiking, and exploration, ACG will drive innovation for outdoor athletes through specialized footwear and apparel. Key offerings include trail-ready shoes such as the ACG Ultrafly and the rugged ACG Zegama, along with performance apparel like the Radical AirFlow racing top and the Lava Loft down jacket, each designed to perform in demanding conditions.

Nike Trail will also transition into ACG, allowing the brand to draw from Nike’s deep running heritage to develop new performance innovations that support outdoor athletes of every level and intensity.

ACG’s commitment to the trail community extends through its All Conditions Racing Department, a growing roster of elite trail runners dedicated to high-speed performance and pushing the boundaries of exploration. Several new athletes are joining the program this season, strengthening an established team of 22 who help shape the future of trail performance by testing prototypes, providing feedback, and refining product innovation for the broader trail community. New members include Hiroki Kai, Hyunji Kang, Minchul Ko, Jennifer Lichter, Adam Merry, and Takako Takamura.

Beyond performance innovation, ACG continues to expand support, access, and opportunities for the next generation of trail athletes. Alongside its sponsorship of the Chongli 168 Ultra Trail, the brand has added Broken Arrow Skyrace and Gorge Waterfalls to its roster of partner events, reinforcing its commitment to independent trail running competitions worldwide.

This month also marks the opening of ACG’s first dedicated standalone store at Beijing’s Taikoo Li Sanlitun shopping center. Known as the ACG Base Camp, the space is designed to be more than a retail location. It serves as a physical expression of the brand’s spirit of exploration, reimagining outdoor gear for a new generation while returning to ACG’s roots. Additional in-store activations across Nike locations globally will further bring the outdoors inside, creating new ways to connect with athletes wherever they live and train.

A refreshed brand voice and campaign will accompany the relaunch, highlighting ACG’s identity, vision, and passion for exploration while encouraging athletes everywhere to step outside and pursue their next adventure.

After 6 years (roughly) of playing on and off, we finally finished Curse of the Crimson Throne adventure path in the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. This is after our characters also finished the base game adventure path of The Dragon’s Demand.

I played Kess.

I have so much to say about this but it really is going to get into the mechanical weeds if I am not careful. I should make separate posts maybe about all the coolest parts.

The short of it all is that this ACG is fucking stellar. We had so much fun. The base provides a very mechanically solid foundation, and then different scenarios in the adventure paths will twist those mechanics around to make the session work differently.

It is very rng heavy, and those dice were sometimes brutal, which meant we often spent more resources to have bigger dice pools to feel more comfortable. Which was great! It is nice to roll lots and lots of dice.

We had three players, and each character felt super different. We had character sheets that let us do really weird and complex things in a fun way. We all felt like utility knifes we could keep expanding, up to a point, and then our decks would allow us to sharpen that further.

I am super sad support for this ended. I would have loved more cards and adventure paths. Time to look at fan made adventure paths i guess.
