A 300z was the original goal. However I found a 240z. Never looked back.

Fifty years evolution of the Nissan Z-car series, from the original Datsun 240Z to the modern 400Z.
The series began in 1969 with the Datsun 240Z (S30 platform). Subsequent generations include the 280ZX (S130), 300ZX (Z31 and Z32), 350Z (Z33), 370Z (Z34), and the current 400Z (Z35).
The Z-car is also known as the Fairlady Z in Japan. The newest model, the 400Z, features a 400-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine.

My Grandfather loved sports cars. He had one of these. I drove it for a night on the town in Atlanta Georgia while we were visiting for Christmas.
Incredible car. Power everything. The dashboard was completely computerized.
