Hey, y'all.

Maybe some of y'all don’t know this, but there’s this new AI slop movie called On This Day… 1776 coming out. Pretty much everyone in the history community has done nothing (from where I’ve seen) but condemned this to filth.

Don’t watch it. Don’t even hate watch it. Let it die. As someone who is studying to be a historian, the history scene on YouTube right now is being FLOODED with generative AI crap. And seeing this shit, doesn’t help.
