Lovingly Annoying
James apparated to Remus’ place as he usually did after full moon, he knew the state Remus was in, almost, as he made sure not to leave him until he was healed and could properly move around.
Bringing a care package and his new theories and potions he knocked on the door. “Moony, it’s me, Prongs!” he announced, figuring that Remus wouldn’t pretend to not be home.

Hatred
This thought has been sitting in my head for a long time, but today I decided to try to put it into words and really think it through.
It seems to me that hatred is what connects people, not what separates them.
I’ll try to explain this in mutual hatred point and one-side hatred point
Mutual hatred
From what I’ve seen, people who mutually hate each other often give each other far too much attention. They keep an eye on one another, and sometimes even adopt each other’s traits - I’m not joking.
And this is where I got stuck. How can people who literally don’t want to exist on the same planet as each other borrow qualities from one another? Why are people who despise each other interested in how their “opponent” is doing?
It’s like a twisted form of love, essentially, lol.
One-sided hatred
When I would get angry, for example in a video game, and try to provoke some kind of negative emotions in my opponent, and didn’t receive any response, I would surprisingly start to feel empathy toward the person and… disappointment in myself for what I had done.
I’ve tried to reflect on it, but all I can come up with is that even negative emotions seem to expect reciprocity. There’s an expectation of a counterattack and a ?feeling of pain? - as crazy as that might sound.
P.S. Obviously, this doesn’t apply to every situation, and there are cases where harm from one person to another is completely different. These are purely personal observations and an attempt to analyze how I perceive what’s happening.
P.S.S. Try to be kinder to each other. I will too.

HABITAT: found in many european countries, north africa & north america. few specimens have been found in palestine & turkey.
ECOLOGY: this species appears to be mycorrhizal.
EDIBILITY: it may sometimes bioaccumulate arsenic compounds from the soils, which has led to past poisonings in europe. technically edible after cooking, but this is still not advised.
