idk why but for some reason XTale has the same grip on me as Undertale does when it comes to hyperfixations.

Is it because I find the idea of an AU with a limited color palette cool? Is it because the idea of someone in universe having abilities similar to a creator (to semi-quote the Secret Entries Zine) is interesting?? Is it because it’s beautifully drawn/animated???

I have no idea. But I like it.

Also the bastard has been living in my brain rent-free since I’ve been rewatching the XTale movie and I have no idea why. Like dude I find you an interesting character but that doesn’t mean you get to stay here.
