Let me tell you how awesome my God is!! This time last year, I was in a really dark place in my personal & professional life. I thought I had a great job only to be denied due to lies. 2019-2020 I was a walking mess, mentally & physically! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Fast forward to April 2020 in the middle of a pandemic, I was about to check out & my bestie told me to get my self together real quick! So I took a leap of faith & applied for several jobs in Bentonville. I had an interview & was hired within 45 minutes! God was setting me up for something better! Yes, I moved & started a new job in the middle of a pandemic, but I wouldn’t change any of it. This time has shown me who is in my corner & wants what’s best for me & not how I can benefit them. I have a fresh start, in a new city, in a new school! I have a different outlook on life & as my aunt says you have a glow that I haven’t seen in a long time! I’m truly blessed to be under God’s covering! God has truly showed up & shown out in my life! Today I’m not 100%, but I’m far from where I was, because I believed in myself & I knew my worth! So here’s to truly being the best version of myself! ❤️

Move Update- I’ve been in Bentonville for one full week & unpacked the most important part of the house- the kitchen! 😂 Honestly, it’s been kind of stressful, moving to a new city with middle school aged kids, starting a new job, & just being away from what I’m use to. So I’m glad I have been able to find my happy place in the kitchen! I spent the day trying out new recipes & perfecting some old ones. For those of you that love the Doubletree chocolate chip cookies, I took their version & took it up a notch! 😋 My pecan caramel chocolate chip cookies are my new favorite cookie!
