Hear me out: Iron Lung x Pokemon AU.

Basically, Simon as a Pokemon Trainer, and Elli (the blood ocean eel monster) as his Pokemon.

I vaguely imagine Simon’s outfit being very similar towards the movie, but with Pokemon theme.

As for Elli, I know she’s very gigantic in the film. However, I think she’d have the ability to change her forms/size, very similar how Zygarde can in Pokemon Legends Z-A (idk if he can in other games because that’s the only game I’ve truly played so far). Problem is; I don’t know what type of Pokemon she’d be. At first, I was thinking either electric type like Eelektross, or maybe a water type. The more I thought about it, the more I realize that I wanna add the ghost type to her, because in Iron Lung, she’s technically made up with a bunch of dead humans and spirits of them, I think? (I’m still trying to understand her myself)

Yeah, there’s not much of lore concept. Just more of what roles these two main characters would have. Maybe I’ll draw them. No promises though. (I still haven’t attempt to draw Elli yet, and I know she’s gonna be hell to draw)

Had a zoom meeting with my ADHD doctor yesterday. Went well as usual. I mentioned about my hatred towards AI slop and how AI won’t ever replace man-made art, and she agreed with me. She understood exactly where I was coming from so much and I didn’t really need to explain how/why AI is bad.

Felt great to have that conversation.

Sorry for double posting but APPARENTLY those commission scammers have showed up on Tumblr at least for the first time for me.

For those who don’t know what I am talking about, there were/are commission scams going on in Instagram and even places like Artstation where people would pretend to be interested in your work and try to commission a pet or portrait for the sake of trying to get your bank details. Here’s how to (somewhat) sniff them out:

1- They don’t seem to be an average customer/ person that would be involved in your fandom, or has a blank template for an account or don’t even follow you.

2- They ask you to draw a portrait or a pet picture either for themselves or their children/family.

3- They promise to overpay you (in the hundreds) and do not listen to you even if you firmly state the price is cheaper.

4- They are constantly asking for your email name, or private details regarding things like banking details or passwords or other private information others should not know.

5- They try and over reassure you they mean no harm, try to guilt you into giving them the info, or become aggressive over you not giving them what they want.

What should you do if you come across one of these guys?
My best advice is to block and report. Sadly these people jump account to account so there isn’t really much to do other than spread this info to prevent artists from being scammed.
