• the other half of the shit twins. frenzy will sometimes run around on all fours (IDW & G1) and bares his teeth and growls while guarding megatron (IDW). megatron was trying to train them one time using similar commands to sit and stay (G1). when swimming he will doggy paddle (G1). he ran on all fours, tackled optimus prime, and bit him. (G1) some of his scrapped names are Hun-Grr and Mad Dog. similar to rumble, he will only listen to megatron and soundwave.

• Literally acts as a guard dog when her father tries to rob a house. “If you approach, I’ll bark. I told you, I’m the dog.”

• b-127 is very excitable and cant stop talking be it from excitement, nerves, stress, fear, etc. hes fiercly loyal, sticking to orion and d-16 when they meet him. he was heavily isolated and has a boisterous personality. he can be overbearing and “annoying” but he truly cares so much and is just a sweet little guy. i also wouldnt be surprised if they had continued on to make him similar to a guard dog in the sequel. b can be incredibly impulsive and destructive, his lack of socialization causing him to make some extreme actions (intimidating and destroying a control room with his blades bc he got completely carried away) [holds him out] i think he’s pretty neat!!

• he becomes what is essentially an attack dog as the masked disciple

• Known as the Hound of Ikariya, he’s the attack dog of the family, and guard dog of the heir Makoto Ikariya. He’s utterly devoted to his family, willing to plead guilty to a murder he didn’t commit rather than turn against them. He has a full back tattoo of a komainu (Japanese temple guardian dogs, kind of like Chinese stone lions), and apparently is not shy about showing it off.

• She’ll meet you and immediately decide you’re her best friend and she wants to go on a long walk through the woods. She’s an expert tracker, which she uses for her cryptid hunting youtube channel. She is banned from Scarlet Mines because she kept showing up to see if the owner, Tabitha Scarlet, wants to hang out. She has gotten stuck chasing something into a burrow (turns out it was a skunk).

• Bouncy hyperactive dog energy. Desperate for someone to play with him. Literally gets excited about ‘treasure’ and digs it up with his bare hands

• Abused dog coded in that well…he’s been abused his entire life thus his tendency to snap and bite without second thought. He’s constantly on edge from being in fight mode his entire life. He was shown one act of kindness and died for the girl who provided it . All he wants is someone to love him and be patient with him and show him he ISNT hard to love he DIDNT deserve to have his mother abandon him as a child and for his father to be cruel to him. Not to mention his father hammering in “respect and responsibility” is reminiscent of owners who create attack dogs without much else care for their emotional wellbeing. In many ways billy was groomed to be a fighter dog

• Group he’s from is called “the hunting dogs” and he’s literally the most perfect fit for a group with that name. He is The Hunting Dog

• 1) hes prettyyyyy bad at lying. He literally goes in to disguise and basically only changes his hair color. he is definitely the kinda dog who when hes in trouble you can just TELL cuz he’s got those eyes. 2) he’s afraid of women. now, i will be fair, i have never met a dog who is afraid of women, not that they don’t exist. but- it does remind me of those dogs with very specific needs and preferences like “yes he hates men yes he hates children yes he hates other dogs, you do need to tuck him in at 9:30 every night” kind of dog. 3) This was the first thing I thought of but it didn’t feel like good enough an argument on its own, the blood rain scene? SOOOO WET PUPPY IN THE RAIN. he is so sad and angry. 4) not to mention the context, where hes kinda just getting picked on by Hua Cheng and is literally the only character left out in the rain. that is my sad wet dog. You could argue for his entire character, literally a guard of Xie Lian who even though his kingdom is gone, still can’t get rid of that loyalty despite the hi-jinx and awkwardness, and potential bad blood??? Donghua only I still don’t understand the details on that. He is a loyal dog, he is a weird dog, and he’s that great mix of deeply loyal and stern and goofy and pathetic. He is the true all rounder of the dog boy world!

• He loves to follow orders, and when he doesn’t have someone to /give/ him orders, his life falls apart and he contemplates killing himself. Has near-unconditional loyalty to whoever his person is at the time, and is willing to kill almost anyone else for them. He’s constantly compared to a guard dog by almost every character. He gives his boss (who is his owner, really) a trained dog to be there to protect him when /he/ can’t be. His resting face is reminiscent of a kicked puppy.

Garm

• He is nicknamed “Garm the Hellhound”. In fact his very name, Garm, is an insulting nickname he got for his violent tendencies (In Norse mythology, Garm is a wolf associated with both Hel and Ragnarök). The author said that Garm is insensitive to insults, so he just owned that nickname and kept it. Garm seems to have some sort of ASPD/Low empathy condition, as he sees fighting and even killing as a fun, energising game. He doesn’t care if he dies, so why should anyone else?? He chases t Thorfinn, the main character around hoping to get to fight him and genuinely can’t comprehend why Thorfinn might not want to. Garm also kinda looks like a dog, with huge, fluffy shaggy hair.
