Finally, a VERY belated February experiment piece! I barely had time for art last month while dealing with art book & exhibition prep, so I kept this one as a simple drawing that could be used for screenprinting in the near future. 👀

This current trend of people being very openly hostile towards polyamory has made me realize a few things and among those things is that, apparently, to many people the bad thing about someone cheating in a relationship is simply that they are having sexual/romantic relations with multiple people at the same time. Like, that’s what the issue is to many of them that’s what’s morally wrong about it. Not the fact that they’re going behind their partner’s back to break a serious established boundary and their trust. Which is crazy
This is why they don’t care when you try to explain that polyamory is consensual therefore by definition not cheating it doesn’t matter at all because to them the issue was never consent. They just think being with multiple people at the same time is inherently immoral in any context even if literally everyone involved is cool with it

Primarily produced between 1936 and 1965 under the artistic direction of late cartoonists Fred Cooper and Amelia Opdyke Jones, the imitation periodical campaign by the Interborough Rapid Transit Company (IRT) fulfilled a variety of purposes in the subway system for over five decades. It encouraged polite passenger etiquette, but also promoted local attractions as a way to entice New Yorkers to use public transit — from the Metropolitan Museum of Art to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

It’s incredible when people say shit like this. because think about it. Pyongyang is a city of 2.5 million people. why would they build a fake subway. it’s INCREDIBLE what propaganda about other countries can make people think. I remember when I was in high school, and the talks between the US and dprk were going on, my AP government teacher pointed at the North’s building on the other side of the DMZ and said “that building is actually only 5 feet deep. it’s a fake building meant to look imposing.” and at the time I believed it. but like. why would they do that. what would there be to gain from making the facade of a building visible from only one angle.
also this is the first but not last time you’ll see this kind of pic here, there will be more someday
