I honestly think Gen-Z and younger simply does not understand how recent widespread smartphone adoption is.
I am not that old, and I didn’t have a smartphone until probably late high school. For most of my life, many if not most people were not walking around with a magic internet machine in their pocket that they pulled out and used constantly for everything.

listen I know there’s good reason we don’t know where ao3’s servers are but does anyone else wish we knew so we could go visit them like some kinda pilgrimage
I just imagine looking at some huge-ass room of server racks and thinking about how many hours of my life are contained there (both reading fic and writing it), how many people I’ve met and known and loved because of the stories stored there
and just, like, setting a little battery-operated tealight candle in front of the racks to express my devotion and gratitude

Interpret the prompts however you like, just so long as at least one woman is central to it, e.g. a Teyla + Atlantis Reconnaissance Team post would be perfectly suited to the ‘dynamics’ prompt, but a general 'Atlantis Reconnaissance Team dynamic’ post would not as it wouldn’t centre Teyla.
