My opinion on Valorant’s new agent: Miks + My analysis on his design (cause I wanted to put my semi-optic lessons on practice)
Riot has released the new agent cinematic, already teasing us with some clips of him saving Gekko.
I’d like to show my thoughts:
I liked his hair, it’s like Justin Bieber in his youth era, the front hair and all, but that doesn’t mean I did not like it. I like making my male ocs with a hair like that, I think it’s very stylish.
the new agent in portuguese brazilian dub (my language) sounds like he is drunk 😭🫠 idk it’s like Chicken Joe from Surf’s up… nah I think I’m exaggerating, but it was almost like it.
His arm seemed… odd, it’s like his model bugged or something, but I guess it’s his natural arm.
In the clip he gives the good vibes for Reyna, Sage and Gekko, like a real DJ. But why do I think of that? Well, according to psychology, music is a powerful tool for emotional regulation, cognition and well-being, influencing the brain by releasing neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin, impacting memory, pleasure and motivation, and being used in therapy to treat anxiety, depression and neurological disorders, acting as a filter for distractions or a catalyst for feelings and experiences.
And the DJ’s role is to play recorded music to curate the atmosphere, using mixing techniques like beatmatching for seamless transitions to keep energy high in clubs, weddings, or radio. Their core role is reading the crowd to tailor the music, essentially acting as an energetic conductor and musical curator.
And that fits Miks’ character perfectly! I loved it!

Overall, I liked his design. Is it original? No, but it fits with his vibe – the DJ look – , at least it’s better than Waylay’s cause wtf happened to the designers mind when they created her.
I’ll give an 8/10, pretty cool design and the possible semi optic in it.
