Learning with Purpose at CU Denver. #cudenver #universityofcolorado #universityofcoloradodenver #auraria #denver #5280 #learnwithpurpose
There haven’t been many campaigns that have drawn my heart and taken to my heart as much as CU Denver’s “Learn with Purpose” campaign that has been on display for the last year or so. The simple use of colors and catchy slogans (Including “home of the brilliant” and “extra large graduation caps available”), displayed around Denver have, in my opinion, done an excellent job of creating interest in the area.

The design was done by the local advertising agency Karsh/Hagan. On their site, they explain their process “We set about finding ways to connect the city of Denver to the world-class university it never knew it had. First, we designed, built and installed a giant button wall at the corner of Lawrence and Speer, so opinion leaders couldn’t miss the campus.
Then we covered downtown with wallscapes, brickmelts and wheatpaste posters. And we redesigned CU Denver’s windows so people could start to get an idea of just how many buildings downtown are actually university classrooms.”

It is always inspiring to see such large-scale and innovative campaigns that are commissioned by a Local client and created by a local agency.
