Fall window display.
Another fabulous find from the estate sale I went to last Saturday. This was in the garage in a cupboard way up high with one of the doors partially closed so I could only see a portion of it. I had it hauled down for closer inspection and had to have it!!! Advertising on both sides reading Butter Krust Bread Alexander Brother’s Baking Co. After doing a quick search on the internet I discovered that a trademark was issued on June 27th, 1933 in Topeka, Kansas. There is actually a book called ‘A “slice” of Topeka history: Alexander Brothers Baking Company/ Butter Krust Bakery’. I had been looking for inspiration for a window display and with the help of a grouping of pumpkins it was done!!!
