If you want to make a Co-op story based horror game then you need to fuck with their presentation and communication. Ask players not to use out of game communication, and them make it so they can sometimes see and hear different things in the same area. You can have a lot of fun with this. You can even cut off the communication of one player and make the other see them as a monster.

Actually had a successful round of WuWa co-op today. First person I joined I helped them clear some void storms, second person didn’t need any help so we just chatted for a bit. Last one I joined has another person in their world already and idk how long the three of us played for but it was a long while. I think I watched a friendship form.

Why do i need to go through an entire background check. multiple steps. 30minute+ test questionare. Every detail of my life just to stock shelves in co op. Only for them. nOt even 30 MINUTES later. TO SEND ME AN AUTOMATIC REJECTION EMAIL???!!! TO STOCK SHELVES??!?!?!?!? AND I CANT APPLY TO ANY CO OP IN THE COUNTRY FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS?!?!?!?!?
I ask like 5 servers I’m active in like every week if they want to play a game and I get ZERO response every time. Not even a “No I don’t want to play the game” or “I don’t have the game”. Like either they don’t have the game or they genuinely just fucking hate me bro
Man playing games locally with your family is just the best feeling. 15 years later from when I started playing local co-op modes and different video games and local gaming still hasn’t changed a bit. It just has a certain feeling that you can’t get with online multiplayer.
So… a streamer friend of mine, GreatSofaKing, is of that weird age where he missed out on this move being a thing. As a kid, my friends and I would pull this move on each other all the time, even the girls would do it… but then again, I lived in trailer parks as a kid so…
