why are the caps alternate jerseys so much cuter than the regular and normal home jerseys. like they’re so lowkey and the logo is actually an eagle not just letters. also the stripes on the sleeves looks so much more like a capitals jersey to me it’s so capital of the USA

so im on pre-tumblr-makes-bad-decisions mobile right now, but I don’t care one iota abt notes or who sees this. i feel bad reblogging posts with thoughts, even though I have So Many Fucking Thoughts right now, because WHO FUCKING MAKES DECISIONS AROUND HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! (and can i stab them like we stabbed mr caesar yesterday pls and thank u)
the new ui means people can’t talk to each other without the op completely losing track of the post, and that people who comment on posts get overwhelmed with new notifications.
we cannot effectively moderate our own posts. if three reblogs down the line my post runs into someone I’d rather not interact with, I most likely will never see it, and even if i do and turn *my* reblogs off, every other circulating version can still be reblogged.

Staff has turned the entire site into those fucking. bot blogs that screenshot active tumblr posts & repost them for note harvesting. this will allow bots and bad faith actors to run unchecked. everything is a repost not a reblog.
some people have mentioned aggregate notes for each “layer” of a post, and that’s a better idea, but it still means rebloggers who throw a bit of commentary on the end of one post that later gets popular could end up with way more attention than they want, and it doesn’t fix the GLARING UI issue that is the new system. it’s impossible to tell where one post ends and the next begins, especially if you have an ad-blocker enabled and so you don’t see pop-ups in between posts.
staff already destroyed note count when they split up reblogs likes and replys into separate counts, but at least that was just aesthetic. this update destroys the culture of the site.
FEEL FREE TO REBLOG WITH WHATEVER COMMENTARY YOU WANT - i will still be able to see it and moderate my own post since im using the old version, and yall deserve to bitch as much as yall want.
