After negatively spiralling for weeks because of work and studying, my life got a bit worse, before i found my way back to the positive spiral again.
My washing machine broke, one class was terrorising me, but then I scratched off this work thing and then I made the deadline for my course and I went to see a comedy show and two concerts last and I got to speak to my former neighbour (“therapist”) again and life got better
For anyone who has ever been in the pit at a concert- how early should you get there if you want to be barricade or somewhat close to the stage?? (Planning tickets for the Forest Hills Stadium show)

can y'all believe i took this on a shitty phone camera? me neither. tbh i only know one song from them and it’s “pag-ibig ay kanibalismo ii” (literal translation: love is cannibalism ii, recontextualized: love is all-consuming) but their other songs “kalapastangan” and “aswang sa maynila” are pretty good. there’s probably an english cover out there somewhere. i’d do a breakdown/translation of this song sometime soon if i feel like it.
they remind me of IVOS (IV of Spades) during their mundo era, but more specifically, zild when he released his solo stuff. the vibes are very similar to zild, actually, down to the lyrics and textures of the song.
songs like huminga with that raw, body horror-like imagery and lyrics (that one part where he goes laman at buto, naramadaman ko, ngayo'y tatakbo, pabalik sayo), like kyusi during the more light-hearted parts (and lowkey corny lyrics), like duwag in terms of the guitar.
speaking of, beabadoobee and the marías collaborated!!!! MY TWO FAVORITE ARTISTS!! hate to be that guy™️ but I KNEW THEM BEFORE THEY WERE FAMOUS!! I WAS THERE FOR SUPERCLEAN AND CINEMA! i don’t love their new song, i don’t hate it either, it’s a very different vibe from them both, more shoegaze and that’s not really either of their style, but, i mention this because their new song has this amazing guitar part than has me rolling.
when i heard they would collab, i expected more “talk” from beabadoobee and “back to me” from the marías. but i like the song nonetheless.
