written by Mark Waid
art by Todd Nauck, Jerry Ordway, Matt Herms, & John Kalisz

Name: Omni-Void (Omnus Null)
Origin: Once a discarded animator’s concept from the Adventure Time universe, Omnus Null was abandoned in the Canceled Show Void. Exposure to a multiversal rift infused it with anti-matter energy, transforming it into Omni-Void, a devourer of cartoon realities.
Personality: Nihilistic yet creatively obsessive, Omni-Void mocks the fragility of cartoon narratives while seeking the “perfect story” to preserve.
Role: The central antagonist devouring universes to reshape the multiverse, opposed by a coalition of toon heroes and QuipSlip.
Abilities: Multiversal consumption, anti-matter waves, toon reality warping, and Herald summoning.
Inspirations: Anti Monitor and Galactus

We all know the Anti-Monitor as the big multiversal threat consuming all the different universes in the Crisis on Infinite Earths. Since the Justice Society may be in another universe (things are complicated on that front), naturally, the Anti-Monitor is a threat to them just as well as the Justice League.
In an adaptation, whether I make them from a different world or not, I would still make the Justice Society a major part of a Crisis Storyline, fighting right alongside the Justice League to save all world. All casting as previously mentioned.
The Anti-Monitor first appeared in 1986 as the main villain of the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline. He is a massive cosmic being that dwells in a universe of anti-matter and set about to destroy the multiverse and consume all the worlds within it, forcing Justice League members from all different universes to come together to stop him.
He is quite possibly one of the most powerful villains in the DC universe, being a full-on multiversal threat, responsible for the destruction of nearly every single universe but one, meaning he ended literally infinite lives in his tenure as a villain. He can absorb energy and fire devastating bolts from his hands, and can even warp reality to his will to a lesser extent.
Any adaptation of this character would have to be a major crossover event, possibly the biggest event in the entire series, requiring lots of setup of multiple heroes from multiple different timelines. That said, he’d be a good opportunity to bring back a lot of older series as well for one last go-around.
Typically, the Anti-Monitor tends to be portrayed as a great cosmic being that doesn’t necessarily need to be properly cast, just to exist as a massive imposing presence. That said, a powerful voice like that of James Spader, Keith David, or David Kaye would be a very solid addition to his character.
I can’t emphasize enough how much I despise the Crisis on Infinite Earths. Post Crisis DC gave us edgy batman, boring superman and worse versions of every character in the DCU (except maybe Martian Manhunter). On top of that, the concept makes no sense. DC didn’t want a multiverse anymore, so they killed off all their parallel universes. That’s like saying I don’t like my pet bird, so i’m gonna kill all the birds on earth. It’s a madman’s decision, born of impulsive thinking. DC without a multiverse makes no sense! Especially not when all you’ve read is 60s and 70s DC stuff!
Also, The Monitor legitimately creeps me out. He watches the earths, but sometimes sends down foes to test people? What!? Who gave him that right!? And who is he yo say that the Anti-Monitor is evil!? The Anti-Matter worlds have people too! You can’t wipe them out! You fucking despot! Uatu the Watcher needs to teach you some lessons, mainly by throwing you into a black hole. Seriously! Screw the Crisis on Infinite Earths! Screw all the people involved in making it a thing! It’s not fun! It’s just annoying, and it ruins my appreciation for the comics.
I don’t actually hate the Anti-Monitor. I refuse to read Crisis on Infinite Earths (because I think it was a horribly executed idea), but I think that the Anti-Monitor is just sad and sympathetic. He represents the anti-matter world of qward, right? And he gets no respect from the people of the positive matter universe. We shun him, treat the anti-matter universe like it’s naturally evil and cruel. That probably bred resentment in the Anti-Monitor, which leads to him wanting to destroy the positive matter worlds. I think he’s easily seen as a sympathetic figure.

To make Wonder Woman more of a threat, she kills what’s left of the Greek Pantheon and absorbs their powers. Her brand of justice will bring the mortals to heel, she will reunite the regime and end this insurgency once and for all.
