Just about a week ago, we were laughing about a post commenting on how ✨AMAZING✨ Bardugo’s worldbuilding is.
Well, here it is:
Why use two widely-known ENGLISH terms, then drop a non-existing word the reader cannot be familiar with, because… well, because the word itself doesn’t exist?!
It’s not just confusing, it’s fucking annoying for the reader, because it’s just a lump of letters with no meaning behind it.
